This hop-on hop-off bus tour makes different stops throughout the city, allowing you to enjoy the main points of interest Edinburgh has to offer in total comfort. The bus offers a different point of view, thanks to its two floors and convertible roof.
Route and Stops
The bus makes a 60 minute route, throughout which you can enjoy recorded commentary in English and 8 other languages about the places you are passing through.
Some of the most interesting stops are Princes Street, Calton Hill, Grassmarket, Holyroodhouse Palace, the Scottish National Gallery and Edinburgh Castle.

How it Works
The ticket is valid for 24 hours after its first use, that is to say, if you use it for the first time at 3 pm on Monday, it will be valid until 3 pm on Tuesday.
During this time you can get on and off the bus as many times as you like, to discover attractions such as the Holyroodhouse Palace, Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle or the National Museum of Scotland.
Although when making the reservation you will be asked for a start date, you can use the service up to 15 days following this date.
When making the reservation we will send you an email with a ticket which you must hand in the first time you get on the bus.
Timetable and Frequency
This bus operates every day of the year (except on the 25th of December), with the following schedule:
- July and August: 9:30 am to 7 pm
- April, May, June, September and October: 9:30 am to 6pm
- November to March: 9:30 am to 4 pm
- In August, Johnston Terrace and Chambers Street is not accessible after 5pm. The stops 5 and 7 will not be operative.
The bus passes with a frequency of between 7 and 30 minutes.

When to book?
Book as soon as possible to guarantee availability, especially during public holidays and festivities.
You can book up until the same day ( 10:00 local time) if there are still places available.
