Tour Details

If you're in Edinburgh, you can't miss out on the secrets of Scottish gin, and what better way to do so than with a visit to the Summerhall distillery? To do so, we'll meet at the entrance of Summerhall, located in Summerhall Square, and we'll start a tour of its facilities.

We'll enter this historic Edinburgh gin distillery and start to uncover its secrets. During the tour, we'll learn about the different techniques used in its production, as well as the whole process behind the production and preservation of gin.

Did you know that to learn about the history of this distillery, we'll have to travel back to Bombay in the mid-20th century? We'll tell you about the importance of the spices that were imported from India to create one of the best gins in the world.

To put the icing on the cake to our visit to Summerhall, we'll enjoy a tasting of Pickering's gin and tonic—you'll be surprised by the different nuances and aromas it can have!

Finally, after an hour and 15 minutes, we'll say our goodbyes at the entrance to the distillery and you'll take home a small bottle of Summerhall gin as a souvenir.
