We took part in this walking tour during the hustle and bustle of the Fringe. Nick, our guide, was excellent in every way. He was very knowledgeable and very engaging. As he was also highly experienced, he was able to make sure that we could always hear everything he said - not easy with performers and audiences everywhere - and he showed us some quiet spots which we would not have found ourselves. At every stop he told us interesting facts and each stop was timed just perfectly. A great tour.

The Canadian took us back to many the 1500's Edinburgh City, talking us through the East, West, north and south's way of living, poets, intellectuals, antheist, clergies, etc and GrayFriarr's which holds the city's most popular citizen . It was great listening to the Scottish history before my eyes. She was funny, free and had great historical knowledge which aligned with my British history(learnt in the 90s'). Absolutely loved it, will bring back my 14 year old - a history fanatic. Thank you

Ignus (?) was potentially a very good guide, informative and knowledgeable but he definitely needs to slow his delivery down. His rapid delivery and accent was hard for some people to understand and some people actually made excuses and left the tour early because of this

Despite the fact that the organizers had difficulty locating our names within the registrations list, the matter was quickly resolved and we were assigned to Joe’s group. The tour as it was, conducted by Catherine, was very informative and she had a very resourceful memory of dates and events, plus an entertaining way to communicate with us. Still, two things struck us: 1) she spoke very fast, which, as we were a very diverse group caused a bit of a problem for some of us. 2) When we booked the tour it was said to bring us to some of the J.K. Rowling places (Greyfriars Kirkyard, Elephant) but we went down the Royal mile. What happened?
