Visit the historic Inchcolm Island and admire three impressive bridges on this boat cruise on the Firth of Forth.
Forth Bridges & Inchcolm Cruise
After meeting up at the scheduled time at Hawes Pier in the town of South Queensferry, we'll board the boat ready to set sail on the Firth of Forth and discover its most important attractions.
As we cruise along the river, we'll get to learn all about the Firth of Forth itself and the three bridges which span it. The Forth is home to one of the world's most important works of civil engineering: the Forth Bridge. Sailing underneath it, we'll be able to see the features that have made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the boat trip, we'll also see the Queensferry Crossing, the UK's tallest bridge, and the Forth Road Bridge, a motorway bridge connecting North and South Queensferry opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1964.
Continuing along the Firth of Forth, we'll reach Inchcolm, and you'll have an hour and a half of free time to explore the island and discover the ruins of its Medieval abbey. You'll be fascinated by the many abandoned military fortifications and by the colonies of sea birds and seals that live on the island's coast.
At the end of our boat tour, we'll drop you back off at the original departure pier.
